Our client, a non-profit professional society, is looking for a dedicated Web Content Coordinator to support their team on a HYBRID basis. This person will be responsible for coordinating content across our client’s website, tracking down stakeholders to ensure follow-up, and ensuring the completion of assignments in a timely manner. This team is also responsible for coordinating content related to our client’s two major annual meetings.

NOTE: Candidates MUST be local to Washington DC area to be considered.
Requirements:
  • Ability to commute to client’s headquarters in Washington DC on a hybrid basis (3 days/week)
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing/web content coordination
  • Previous experience working in a web, digital, or technology environment
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate proactively and assertively with stakeholders to ensure timelines are being followed
  • Driven to get things done and stay on top of tasks, able to influence without authority
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player
  • Focused, detail-oriented, tactful, and diplomatic
Nice to Haves:
  • Previous experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other content management systems
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience with project management software such as Excel, Asana, Jira/Confluence, and Smartsheet
  • Previous experience in a software, digital, or agency environment
  • Ability to understand what good web content looks like and ensure content is representative of the organization’s standards of excellence
Responsibilities:
  • Create and follow editorial calendar based on meetings milestones
  • Develop and manage Meetings content production project schedule
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including content owners, meetings, and marketing business units to gather updated content following the established timeline
  • Proactively follow-up to ensure stakeholders are delivering on time and holding stakeholders accountable, feeling comfortable to escalate as necessary
  • Collaborate with meetings content strategist to ensure content follows web standards
  • Enter information on website using Adobe Experience Manager system
  • Support the digital experience team with other projects and AEM work
