Senior ServiceNow Test Engineer:

This req is Test Engineer supporting our Service Now development team. A person in this role will be working directly with our development team to understand new requirements, provide feedback and direction for quality assurance considerations, create/update new and existing test cases in order to have thorough test coverage for new and updated functionality, automate those test cases using Service Now’s ATF capabilities, conduct release testing to ensure confidence in the software prior to release, and provide production support for deployments and user support.

An incoming candidate needs to have strong communication and assurance skills. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience with Service Now and its built-in Automated Test Framework (ATF). The ideal candidate will be able to comprehend directions and assignments from the team, be able to work independently to complete assigned tasks, help the team prioritize new requirements and technical debt from the backlog, and help mentor others in the team with regards to correct quality assurance practices.

Must-Haves (please do not send candidates that do not meet these criteria):
• Expertise developing, testing, and/or supporting Service Now installations
• Expertise and ability to create, execute, and maintain tests with ATF
• Demonstrated quality assurance experience and expertise
• Ability to guide team to improve quality practices and outcomes
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work with light supervision
• Demonstrable experience seeking out information and learning through self-research
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to assess, communicate, mitigate and escalate risks when necessary

• Experience specifically with GRC/IRM software testing
• Familiarity with the following Service Now applications
