Senior Product Owner

With a focus on innovation and staying ahead in the digital landscape, our client is looking for a skilled Senior Product Owner to lead and enhance their online experience and mobile app services.

Job Summary
As the Senior Product Owner you will be a key player in shaping the future of our online experience and mobile app offerings. Your role will be to understand and anticipate the evolving needs of our members and the financial industry to drive the strategic vision and roadmap for our digital products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to define, prioritize, and deliver innovative features and improvements that ensure an exceptional user experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Product Strategy: Define and communicate a clear and compelling vision for our client’s online experience and mobile app. Understand market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to drive the product strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals.

Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the short-term and long-term goals for our client. Continuously prioritize and adjust the roadmap based on member feedback, business objectives, and technological advancements.

Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners to gather requirements, understand user needs, and identify opportunities for product enhancements. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about new features and improvements.

User Experience (UX): Champion a user-centered approach to product development. Work closely with UX designers to create intuitive, seamless, and delightful experiences for members across all digital touchpoints.

Product Launch and Rollout: Coordinate and manage product launches, ensuring all necessary documentation, marketing materials, and training resources are in place. Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate on improvements as needed.

Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular assessments of competitor products and industry trends. Identify gaps and opportunities to maintain PenFed’s position as a leader in the digital banking space.

Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring a shared understanding of product goals, timelines, and milestones.
