Our financial services client, the largest credit union in the world, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team REMOTELY. This person will have strong leadership skills and experience supporting technical teams and delivering technical solutions on complex IT projects in a highly matrixed organization. Projects may involve formal proof of concept testing, IT security network infrastructure, data and/or database encryption and /or products selection and implementation; IT security risks assessments and remediation activities efforts; and IT software system product development and integration deliveries.
NOTE: Our client is only able to work with US Citizens or Current Green Card holders at this time.

Compensation: $65-75/hr

Requirements:
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management-related certifications
  • 7+ years of experience in project management
  • Previous experience in development/operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SAFe Agile, etc.
  • Advanced experience in project management- including establishing and leading project teams, managing timelines/deadlines/resources, and ensuring successful project implementation
  • Previous experience in IT resource allocation and management
  • Capable of working independently and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects while juggling multiple priorities
  • Advanced presentation skills with a strong executive presence
  • Previous experience leading, guiding, and coaching professional staff
  • Previous experience in vendor engagement
  • Strong relationship-building based on rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact
  • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills using innovative thinking
  • Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively lead projects to ensure effective management and success from inception to implementation, partnering with business partners to completion
  • Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications to ensure vendors meet or exceed contractual obligations by delivering quality products/services on time and within budget
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve technical, tactical, and operational project issues or risks
  • Flexibly reassess, reflect, and shift thinking as projects or strategic direction changes
  • Facilitate project team and client meetings to resolve issues
  • Adhere to best practices by following policies, procedures, and methodologies established within SDLC
  • Prepare and deliver status reports regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to all stakeholders
  • Manage all aspects of of financial management of vendor delivery and provide feedback on vendor performance
  • Manage project-level risks, issues, dependencies, and change management
