Requirements:
- Must sit in EST/CST time zones
- 3-5 years of experience supporting benefits plans (HR Generalist exp. a plus)
- Previous experience with Google Suite/Microsoft Office
- Previous experience using payroll and other HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred)
- Previous experience managing wellness programs
- Previous experience with Leave of Absence administration
- Comfortable adapting to using different technical platforms
- Strong project management experience
- Maintain day-to-day relationships with employees, brokers, and vendors
- Respond to inquiries about plan provisions, enrollments, qualifying events, and claims
- Oversee compliance, health and welfare plan administration including disability, HCRA, DCRA, life, medical, dental, 401(k) program, employee exit program, transportation programs, and time-off management
- Compile reporting to make sure data is accurate (new hires, status changes, qualifying events, separations, etc.)
- Reconcile monthly benefit billing to confirm accuracy and follow up with carriers on adjustments
- Reconcile Leave of Absence
- Coordinate with AP for timely payments for vendor billings
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and tactfully to all levels of staff in oral and written communications
