REMOTE- Information Technology Project Manager

Our client, a Fortune 100 Financial Services Organization & Credit Union, is looking to bring on a Project Manager to join their team in a REMOTE capacity. This is a full time, contract opportunity with one of the worlds largest Credit Unions. 

Description
To provide full project lifecycle management of complex IT projects (or small programs) from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and in accordance with quality standards. Provide project leadership to ensure overall success and in delivery of expected outcomes in support of our clients goals. 

Responsibilities
  • Effective vendor management to ensure that vendor meets or exceeds their contractual obligations by delivering quality products/services on time and within cost structure
  • Adhere to project management best practices by following the policies, procedures and methodologies established within the Systems Development Life Cycle or Agile methodologies
  • Experience leading agile development teams and facilitating team meetings in an Agile environment
  • Ensure technology and service delivery roadmap support the solution strategy and are sustainable to meet the needs of the various solutions being delivered on that product
  • Ensure effective management of projects from inception through implementation
  • Collaborate and negotiate with business partners and vendors to understand requirement needs and resolve any gaps or risks/issues
  • Prepare and deliver status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to management and stakeholders
  • Full life–cycle project management to Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
  • Manage all financial management aspects of vendor delivery and provide feedback on vendor performance
  • Ensure successful project implementation
  • Manage project-level risks, issues, dependencies, and change management
  • Communicate project plan, changes, direction, approach, and priorities based on changing business requirements, circumstances, new information and/or budget considerations to stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned 
Requirements
  • PMP Certification Required 
  • SAFe certifications preferred
  • Candidates are required to be legally authorized to work in the United States without a sponsoring employer indefinitely. * We will only accept the following: US Citizens, Green Card Holders, TN Visa, Green Card EAD’s*
  • Bachelors Degree preferred 
  • Previous experience in Project Management, particularly in IT related projects, is essential. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and systems is necessary. This includes familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.), and relevant technologies/tools.
  • The ability to lead a team effectively, delegate tasks, and motivate team members is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and clients. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner is important.
  • Experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, is important.

Other Details
  • 6 month contract (potential to extend) 
  • Fully Remote (must reside within the continental United States)
  • No C2C arrangements. Candidates must be able to work a W2 Contract. 
  • Pay Rate is $50-$60/hr. Rate depends on professional experience.
