QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree required with a concentration in business or finance or equivalent work  experience
  • A minimum of 2 years – focused on Consumer Loan Servicing experience
  • Experience in Consumer Loan Servicing functions and experience in vehicle title processing
  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to the consumer lending industry (i.e.  ECOA,  etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary
  • Excellent customer service skills with a high attention to detail
  • Prioritize workload based on department requirements and customer need
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to multi-task in other areas of the unit
  • Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented
  • Ability to function in changing environment


SCOPE OF POSITION

  • Process all types of consumer loan maintenance requests within established guidelines, policies and procedure
  • Supports all consumer loan servicing functions to include loan account maintenance, lien releases, vehicle title processing and member service
  • Proactively strives to comply all agreed upon
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all partner credit union operational policies and guidelines, products and services
  • Respond to all inquiries by internal credit union partners and external members timely, courteously, and professionally
  • Researches and resolves any consumer loan servicing compliance issues
