Systems / DevOps Engineer I
Our team is seeking to hire a skilled entry-level systems and DevOps engineer to help with the support, design, and deployment of our technology infrastructure platforms.
Your duties will primarily revolve around supporting the systems and infrastructure required to drive the mission of delivering world class consumer financing technology. This includes supporting the operations and infrastructure for our Software as a Service platform. Your duties will also require the activities to support security audits and day-to-day IT support for the organization, as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need knowledge of Linux computing and cloud computing services. You must assess the ability to collaborate with software engineering team members, project managers, production managers, and other stakeholders in the organization.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, systems architecture, or related degree is encouraged, but certainly not required.
This position typically requires one to three years of industry experience.

Job responsibilities typically include:
- Deployment of infrastructure components in Versatile Credit’s infrastructure, including cloud services, storage, networking, databases, DNS, serverless components, service queues, and security components.
Developing documentation of the systems architecture.
Supporting product-related tools and services, such as GitLab, JIRA,
Confluence, and Artifactory.
Supporting activities for lender audits, security audit, and internal security audits.
Working with customers, partners, or other internal groups on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
- Support internal operations and platforms, including day-to-day IT support, employee access management, employee onboarding, and internal applications support.???????
Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field experience.
One to three years of industry experience.
Knowledge and experience of Linux computing.
Knowledge and experience of Cloud computing.
Knowledge and experience of AWS is a plus.
Knowledge of networking concepts.
Knowledge of security concepts.
Experience with relational databases is a plus.
The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
An ability to collaborate, communicate, and work in a team-based environment.
Creativity is always a plus.
