Annapolis Python Meetup – 11/12/2019

(November 12, 2019 – ANNAPOLIS, Md.) Our fourth installment of Annapolis’s Python meetup was once again a hit. Hosted at The Commons Annapolis, our meetup gathered Python specialists, Broadcast Engineers and Radio enthusiasts for a night of good conversation, drinks and thought sharing.

CDR Charles W. (Chas) Hewgley IV, Permanent Military Professor and faculty with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the US Naval Academy gave an awesome presentation on running GNU Radio using PyBombs.

GNU Radio is a free, open source software development toolkit that allows digital signal processing algorithms to be implemented using C and Python.

PyBOMBS is a Python-based system designed to simplify both the process of installing GNU Radio and the process of importing software modules contributed by the GNU Radio community of users.
